SEKF Weekend Squad Seminar

The SEKF weekend squad seminar was a great success with all three squads attending both days. On the Saturday, John Gardiner who is representing England in the forthcoming world championships, took some time off training to travel down from London in order to run the kata course on our behalf. The squad members were taken through some of John's pre competition training drills before learning another great competition kata. Thanks John.

 

On the Sunday, Danny and I took the squad members through their paces with a demanding kumite session in preparation for the British International Open, in Glasgow the following week. Well done everyone!

I was very impressed with the squad members attitude towards the weekend's training and could see how much they will improve now that we are going to run three or four of these per year in addition to our normal one day squad sessions.
