Double Gold at the English Karate Championships

Congratulations to Team SEKF after their fantastic success at the English Karate championships.

Carla Rudkin-Guillen manged to win an historic Gold medal in the Junior Kata for the third consecutive year and then followed this by winning Gold in the female Junior kumite -59kg. To win an English title is outstanding. However to win Gold in both disciplines of kata and kumite is extremely rare and an incredible feat. 

Christopher Cytus perfomed really well and won a well deserverd Bronze medal in the Junior male Kumite -68kg.

Our other elite athletes, Paul Moinier, Denis Margolin and Emma Barnes all did their best but did not manage a medal on this occasion. Well done everyone and thanks to our SEKF parents who helped support our squad.
