2 Golds & 5 Silvers at WKU Open

The SEKF finished off the end of the year in style winning two gold medals and five silver medals at the WKU Open. Alton Brown our current England Elite squad member and EKF English Champion, won both his weight category and the Open in style using every different technique in the book. Patchouli Phillips increased on her great year by winning two silver medals, one in the Kata and one in the Kumite showing her all round karate ability. Zak Smyth won a silver medal in the kumite to add to his previous gold, along with Holly Gilbert who won a silver and was competing for our A' squad for only the 2nd time. Our other silver medal was won by Eve Moore in the kata and again this was an addition to her previous array of medals this year. Well done everyone!
